Deadly Wildfires in California: Northern California is currently experiencing the deadliest wildfires in its history. The death toll has risen to 40, with many still missing and hundreds of homes destroyed. Meanwhile, calmer winds have slowed the fires somewhat as firefighters continue to work at containing the blaze.

Trump is Changing Obamacare: For the past year, the GOP has failed to repeal and replace Obamacare, and Trump is tired of it. On Thursday President Trump signed an executive order enabling small businesses to offer more affordable plans with fewer benefits. Then, he announced plans to terminate government subsidies that help cover health costs for low-income Americans. Supporters claim that the executive order will open up affordable options for healthier people, while others are worried that both actions raise costs for people with serious health problems who need more coverage.
