Ásdís Ólafsdóttir

Ásdís Ólafsdóttir is a second year M.A. student in International Relations. She earned her B.A. degree in Philosophy and Creative Writing from the University of Iceland. Prior to joining NYU she worked at the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service in TV and radio production, as radio host for a national affairs program and an editor of a documentary TV series. Ásdís is currently interning with the Permanent Mission of Iceland to the United Nations. She is a Fulbright Scholar and her research interests include human rights, women's rights, humanitarian assistance, peacekeeping and conflict resolution.
