Yichen Gao

Yichen Gao is a first-year graduate student in International Relations at New York University (NYU). Her research focuses on migration and gender studies, with a particular interest in undocumented Chinese migrants crossing the U.S. border. Before moving to New York, she studied East Asian Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where she developed a strong foundation in regional politics, transnational migration, and social movements.
