He received his BA in International Studies with a Minor in History from Old Dominion University. A career humanitarian, Benjamin has supported responses for the Rohingya refugee crisis, Syrian refugee crisis, post-ISIS reconstruction of Iraq, and the 2023-24 Israel-Hezbollah war in Lebanon.
