Pei-Yu Wei is a first year M.A. student in the Department of Politics concentrating in Political Economy. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance, Her research interests include political economy in East Asia, especially focusing on Japan, China, and Taiwan, elections, and democratization. Her articles have previously been published in The Diplomat and Apple Daily, Taiwan. She is currently an intern at the International Action Network on Small Arms.
