Carolina Xavier
Carolina Xavier (she/her) is a second-year MA candidate and Merey Fellow in NYU’s Program in International Relations, concentrating in International Law. She graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Law & Human Rights. She is currently a Political Affairs Intern at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. Previously, she worked with ECCO Political Consulting in Brazil and at the Brazilian National Congress. Her research centers around Latin American electoral politics and historical regional relations. In her spare time, Carolina enjoys listening to music, reading literary fiction, and exploring niche Brooklyn cafés.
